Gdynia
City of Gdynia is a forerunner in Poland in introducing sustainable transport solutions. Gdynia’s Roads and Green Areas Management is a municipal institution responsible for the development of CCCB. RaGAM main tasks are surveillance and maintenance of urban infrastructure, including the public road network administrated by the City of Gdynia, planning urban mobility and realizing many actions within this field as well as introducing investments which were awarded in the participatory budget. Roads and Green Areas Management in Gdynia includes Units on:
- Cycling – responsible for planning and development of the cycling infrastructure and introducing metropolitan bike-sharing system called MEVO
- European Projects and Mobility Management – responsible for elaborating SUMP, developing EU projects focusing on mobility, promoting and awareness raising on sustainable mobility among different groups of citizens.
Miastro Gdynia is the National Focal Point for Poland of CityChangerCargoBike.
